You feed it. It feeds the earth.
The Soil Maker™ is a handcrafted stoneware in-ground composter, built to last generations.
Bury the bottom chamber in your garden. Drop food scraps into the wide bowl at the top. Worms and microorganisms already living in your soil do the rest — breaking everything down into living soil that feeds your garden from below. No electricity. No turning. All natural.
Start with redworms or build the culture slowly. Once established, scraps become soil in two to eight weeks. Every three to six months, scoop the living soil from the chamber and spread it into nearby holes — extending the network further each time. Like feeding a sourdough starter. You're not emptying it. You're extending it.
One Soil Maker can divert an estimated 520 lbs of food waste from landfill per year, potentially keeping around 1,800 lbs of CO₂ from the atmosphere, roughly equivalent to the annual carbon sequestration of 30 mature trees.
Estimated delivery Summer 2026. Free shipping anywhere in the USA. All sales final.
